Bitmine Technologies Expands Ether Treasury, Nearing 5% Supply Target

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has increased its ether treasury to 5,797,813 ETH, representing 4.8% of the total supply. The company now holds approximately $10.9 billion in Ethereum, making it the largest corporate ether holder globally. Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee highlighted ether's significant outperformance against the Nasdaq 100 in July.

Bitmine Reports $45.7 Million in Q2 Ethereum Staking Revenue

Bitmine Immersion Technologies reported $45.7 million in revenue from Ether staking and validation in the last quarter, following the March launch of its institutional Ethereum staking platform. Staking revenue accounted for 98% of total revenue for the three months ending May 31. The company has staked 85% of its ETH holdings, approximately 4.9 million Ether, with projected annualized rewards of $284 million once fully staked. This marks a significant shift from previous revenue streams, coinciding with the launch of MAVAN, an institutional-grade Ethereum staking platform. The chairman also highlighted the performance of Robinhood Chain, which has exceeded $1 billion in dollar volume since its July 1 launch, demonstrating Ethereum's utility.

Ether (ETH) recently reached $1,950, its highest in seven weeks, liquidating $62 million in bearish positions. Despite this, on-chain activity and DEX volumes remain low. A record 34% of ETH is now staked, potentially reducing sell pressure, yet sustained growth requires broader market catalysts.
